- This is the first daylight the car has seen in 1 year.
The set-up and offset etc. are just temp (not close to final)
to get the car rolling
so we could bring it out to wash it off and to check out what
we need to do to it to get it right.
The engine goes in a few days from now...

- Engine is in. 95% of the remaining parts are being test
fitted. Some do need to be modified. The runners for the air
cleaners are currently at this length since the hose came
like this. They will be cut upon final assembly.

with hood on. Side panels are not yet completed. Tank is on.
Nerfs & bumper are being test fitted before being sent
out for chroming. These are original Edmund designs.

Please Note: Due to the fact that we are quickly running
out of time and our goal is to have the car running for
the 2003 Latimore Valley Convention, www.emmr.org. We will
be focusing on a "running car" versus a 100% concours
car. We will come back during the winter months and work
on appearance issues.

- Took car to good friend Joe Grandinetti to have him give
the car a preliminary once over. Overall, per Joe, the car
was in good shape. We squared the car, took the bind out
of the suspension, set approx. ride heights, reviewed the
fuel & oil systems, worked on stager & offsets,
tire pressures, etc. then loaded it back up. (Thanks Joe)

- The above pictures shows the side panels that came with
the car (lower). These panels can be seen in the later photos
- but back in 1983 the panels were shaped to replicate a Midget
from the past (upper). The panels in the upper photos were
just recently found by a friend of mine. I will soon have
a template and will make up new ones over the winter months.
No time at the moment - so we will use the ones we have.
